WW 009 – Proximity Transducer

The WW 009 proximity transducer is designed for non-contact measurement of shaft vibration and relative displacement. Based on the eddy current principle, it is highly reliable for long-term industrial use. Featuring a stainless steel casing, IP67 protection at the sensor tip, and compatibility with transmitters and converters, the WW 009 offers robust and flexible integration into monitoring systems.

Rugged and Reliable Shaft Vibration Monitoring

The WW 009 provides a maximum measuring range of 5 mm (0.5–5.5 mm) with high precision. Its probes are interchangeable when using identical cable lengths, ensuring easy replacement and system consistency. The transducer is resistant to oils, solvents, and aggressive chemicals, making it suitable for harsh industrial environments.

Cable options include triaxial Teflon cables with lengths of 1–10 m, stainless steel spiral hose protection, or electrical insulation. These configurations allow for optimized installation and durability in demanding plant conditions.
