Preceded by the Istec Vibration Training Category 1+, which saw 45,000 professionals come to the Sphere, Istec is now developing this crucial next step in the vibration monitoring field. In a series of videos, the training captures the essential and more advanced elements of vibration, allowing participants to earn the Istec Vibration Training Category 2 certificate. Its low price compared to other trainings means it is financially accessible to both engineers & companies, students and lecturers. It is not required to have followed the Istec Vibration Training Category 1+ prior.

ISO industry standard
The content of the training is in accordance with the leading industry standard for vibration measurements and analysis: ISO 18436-II (category 2).

Certification
Participants can take an online exam to earn their certificate. This certificate is valid for five years, after which recertification is required. As the training is created in accordance with the requirements of the ISO 18436-2 category 2 standards, the certificate enables the user to perform vibration measurements, write up a number of reports, and execute more advanced field analysis. It also indicates that the user has been well-informed about a number of topics related to vibration monitoring.
