TWW 201 – One-channel Position Transmitter

The TWW 201 transmitter is a one-channel position transmitter designed for static displacement measurement using eddy current proximity probes. It provides accurate non-contact measurement of object position and integrates fault monitoring for reliable performance.

Reliable Static Position Monitoring

The TWW 201 enables two selectable measuring ranges depending on the probe type, adjustable via a front panel switch. It offers both current and voltage outputs: a 4–20 mA current signal and a filtered RAW voltage signal from +2 V to +10 VDC with sensitivity up to 8 V per measuring range (4 V/mm at a 2 mm range).

The transmitter includes front-panel adjustment for offset (±0.75 mA) and sensitivity (±10%) to compensate for installation and material influences. Integrated fault detection continuously monitors for cable interruptions, short circuits, and when the target is out of range. Faults are indicated by a red LED and as a 2 mA alarm signal at the analog output.
