TWW 212 – One-channel Position Transmitter

The TWW 212 transmitter is a one-channel position transmitter for static displacement measurement using Vibro-Meter proximity probes TQ 4xx with IQS 4xx signal conditioners. It enables accurate non-contact position monitoring and integrates advanced fault detection for reliable operation in industrial applications.

Reliable Static Position Measurement

The TWW 212 adapts its measuring range according to the connected signal conditioner and proximity probe. It supports standard and optional frequency ranges (0–5 Hz standard, 0–2 Hz or 0–10 Hz optional) with a low-pass filter of 20 dB/decade.

The transmitter provides a 4–20 mA current output and a buffered RAW voltage signal from the IQS conditioner. Front-panel offset adjustment (±1 mA) allows correction of small installation errors, while fault monitoring ensures interruptions, short circuits, or out-of-range conditions are detected. Indications are given via a red LED and a 2 mA alarm signal.
