At Istec, we develop and deliver critical vibration, speed and overspeed protection solutions for rotating equipment worldwide. To support our commercial operations, we are looking for a Commercial Administrative Officer who ensures accuracy, structure and reliability throughout the quotation process.
What will you do?
As a Commercial Administrative Officer, you play a key role in supporting the commercial process from RFQ to order handover.
- You read, analyze and interpret incoming RFQs and translate them into correct and well-structured quotations
- You prepare clear and accurate quotations, including proposing suitable alternatives where relevant
- You register quotations, customer data and forecast information fully and correctly in our ERP system (AFAS)
- You actively follow up on outstanding quotations and monitor their status within the sales forecast
- You build complete and accurate commercial dossiers for handover to the administration department after customer approval
- You work closely with Inside Sales and Administration to ensure smooth internal coordination
- You recognize commercial opportunities within RFQs and proactively share them with Inside Sales or Account Management
- You communicate clearly and professionally with customers regarding quotation content and progress
- You support compliance with export control requirements where applicable
Your profile
You bring:
- You work accurately and in a structured way, especially when handling quotations and ERP registrations
- You are able to process high volumes of requests consistently and without losing overview
- You have a commercial mindset and think in terms of customer needs and opportunities, also in an administrative role
- You communicate fluently in Dutch at native level, both written and spoken
- You have professional working proficiency in English, both written and spoken
- Experience with ERP systems is not required, but you learn new systems quickly and carefully
- You value reliability, data quality and collaboration
Experience with vibration monitoring, speed monitoring or industrial instrumentation is a strong advantage.
