Safety system by design
Certified upto SIL 3 with voting logics, SpeedSys delivers rapid hardware response (<8 ms), 2x 2oo3 safety relays, alarm relays, Modbus, binary I/O, and advanced diagnostics. Designed for durability, with a typical 10-year proof test interval.
Design
The Istec SpeedSys® ODS Cabinet is a compact, SIL3-certified system for overspeed and acceleration protection. Designed for straightforward installation, it combines SpeedSys 300 modules in a robust cabinet with an integrated display for real-time status and values. The setup can be expanded with a SpeedSys T30 monitor for additional relays, monitoring functions and communication.
The cabinet supports direct wiring to all modules, with additional terminals for power, 2oo3 voting, and grounding to simplify setup. Three front-panel buttons provide easy access to reset and diagnostic test functions. The SpeedSys ODS Cabinet enables fast, reliable integration into safety-critical industrial environments.
