At Istec, we develop and deliver vibration and speed monitoring solutions for rotating equipment worldwide. Headquartered in the Netherlands, we support OEMs, system integrators and end users in critical industrial applications. As a growing international company with strong ambitions in India, we are expanding our local commercial presence. To support this growth, we are looking for an experienced Sales Manager India who will drive sales growth, acquire new customers and build long‑term relationships in the Indian market.

In this role, you are commercially responsible for developing opportunities, closing deals and supporting partners. You operate close to customers, combine strong sales instincts with technical understanding, and focus on results and customer satisfaction.

What will you do?

In this role, you translate Istec’s growth ambitions in India into concrete sales results through active customer engagement and a strong focus on opportunity development. 

  • Acquire new customers and develop business opportunities within the Indian market. 
  • Manage and grow key accounts while expanding Istec’s customer base. 
  • Achieve annual sales targets and build a strong and sustainable sales pipeline. 
  • Support partners in identifying, qualifying and winning new business. 
  • Conduct customer visits, online meetings and commercial discussions. 
  • Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to customers, partners and at exhibitions. 
  • Lead commercial negotiations on scope, pricing, delivery and contractual terms. 
  • Collaborate with marketing and internal teams to translate customer insights into commercial actions. 
  • Report sales activities, bids and market insights to the India Country Manager. 
  • Use CRM tools to track opportunities, customer interactions and sales performance. 
  • Deliver structured training sessions to customers and partners. 
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, company policies and ethical standards. 

 

 

 

Your profile

You are a commercially driven sales professional who feels comfortable operating independently in the field, while being part of an international organization. 

  • 8 – 10 years of experience in a sales or business development role within an industrial or technical environment. 
  • Proven track record in acquiring new customers and closing complex deals. 
  • Strong commercial mindset with solid negotiation skills. 
  • Comfortable presenting technical and commercial value to different stakeholders. 
  • Experience working with partners or distributors. 
  • Structured and disciplined in forecasting, reporting and CRM usage. 
  • Willing and able to travel within India.
