The great success of the Istec Vibration Training Category 1+ saw 45,000 professionals come to the Sphere, 15,000 of them awarded certificates, and engineers investing over 250,000 hours into mastering vibration on rotating machinery. Continuing to evolve the vibration monitoring field, Istec is developing the Istec Vibration Training Category 2.
Based on earlier results
Those who sign up through the website will claim free access! Istec is developing the training according to the ISO-18436-2 standards, while also adapting it based on the input we received from our participants. It will feature extensive video training and several quizzes in between, similar to our other trainings. After you finish the final exam, a certificate will be issued that shows your proficiency as a trained Category 2 vibration analyst.
Concrete advantages
After the training, you can interpret vibration analysis results and understanding how single-channel impact testing are applied to find natural frequencies. Once this is understood, participants can recognize and avoid resonance, which contributes to machine safety.
Topics related to the first training, like dynamic range, advanced fault recognition, critical speeds, and their practical application in monitoring strategies, are expanded upon. Through the Istec Sphere, the training connects you with a global community of engineers, who are continuously developing their skills in vibration monitoring. Once you have finished the training, you can make reports, including condition monitoring reports, vibration diagnostics and forms of analysis.
